The Sans Soucis Company
Cosmétique Sans Soucis was founded in 1939 by Walter Friedmann in
Berlin-Postdam.
The native Baden-Badener opened his first salon directly beside Schloss
Sans Soucis and produced his first cosmetic products under the brand name
Sans Soucis.
After the war,
the committed cosmetician returned to Baden-Baden with his company. He invested
his creative energy in the constant search for even more effective-substances
and care systems. His work and his path-breaking developments gained international
recognition.
Following Friedmann’s sudden death in 1970, his wife Maria Augustin
took over the management of the family-owned business and has now been at
the top for almost 30 years. Under her leadership, the company has developed
into an internationally renowned concern that distributes its products worldwide
with continuously increasing sales. Today Sans Soucis is one of the most
significant companies in the cosmetic industry.
The Sources of Our Success
The reasons for Sans Soucis success can be found not only in the fact that
the company uses natural substances but also in the fact that it has successfully
developed innovative active substances and high-quality products.
- Sans Soucis was the first cosmetics producer to introduce collagen.
- In 1980, Sans Soucis pioneered the active substance Repair Complex, and
was the first in the world to use it.
- In 1986, the two-phase-product Deep Moist Depot was put on the market.
A Europe-wide patent followed soon thereafter.
- In 1995, Sans Soucis introduced the pure botanical active substance “Biocell”,
which combat wrinkles, into the Repair Energy Line.
- In 1997, Sans Soucis was the first cosmetic producer to use the unique
thermal spring water from Baden-Baden.
